September Full Moon Spirit Hike
Wednesday, September 6th, from 7:00pm to 10:30pm
Reconnect with nature on this full moon hiking adventure! Enjoy the challenge of a hike at night under the light of the full moon that culminates in a community campfire experience. Each full moon hike consists of meeting new people, practicing a few wilderness skills, and enjoying gourmet hor dourves!
The campfire experience varies from month to month but usually includes a sage ceremony, Native American flute, and a seated meditation.
Wilderness skills we teach in the form of mini-lessons include how to build a one match fire, learning the Leave No Trace Principles, building a tarp shelter, and even how to survive an encounter with a bear or mountain cat.
During the Full Moon Spirit Hike, you will try something new, face the challenge of the night, and laugh with new friends.
